This weekend we were very excited about having a mast on Audina, in the spirit of trying to make her look more like a yacht we fitted the boom and ran halyards for the mainsail, headsail and topping lift. We have rope for a spinnaker halyard but we have not put a line through for now because we need a block for the mast first.
(We are also lacking a spinnaker… the one we have may be good for making a bean bag or curtains but thats about the limit of its use..)
After what felt like a very productive morning fitting boom, running halyards and mounting the fuel tank in place we thought we deserved lunch i the sunshine! Especially as this productivity included looking after Clara, running halyards with her on my back in the Ergo carrier (Thank God for baby carriers!!)
NB: Even the sky is the right colour 🙂
